Starting a video production can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. Here are the questions most people ask before they hit record.
1. Do we really need video, or are you just trying to sell us something?
It depends on the If video doesn’t serve a clear goal (sales, trust, clarity, recruitment, brand) you don’t need it. Video is expensive compared to text or images. We should first define the problem. If video isn’t the best solution, we’ll say so.scope and format. A typical 6–8 episode season takes about 6–10 weeks from concept to launch. We move fast, but never at the cost of story or quality.
2. What business result can we realistically expect from this video?
Video alone won’t magically increase revenue. It works when combined with strategy, distribution, and consistency. Expect better understanding, trust, and engagement. Conversion depends on where and how you use it.
3. How involved do we need to be during the process?
More than you think. The best videos are made when clients actively participate in story, messaging, and feedback. If you want a “hands-off” project, the result will be more generic.
4. Can you guarantee results or views?
No. Anyone who guarantees views or sales is lying. We can optimize for impact, clarity, and emotion. Distribution, timing, algorithm changes, and audience behavior are outside our control.
5. What makes your work different from cheaper alternatives?
Cheaper options often focus on execution only. We focus on thinking, story, and intention. If you only need something recorded, cheaper is fine. If you want a video that actually means something, that’s where we add value.
6. What usually goes wrong in video projects?
Unclear goals, too many decision-makers, last-minute changes, and trying to please everyone. Great videos require focus and trust. When everything is important, nothing stands out.
7. How much of the budget goes to “invisible” things like prep and editing?
Often more than half. Planning, story development, editing, sound design, and color grading are where quality is created. The shoot day looks impressive, but the real work happens before and after.
8. Will this video still make sense in two or three years?
That depends on the concept. Trend-driven content ages fast. Story-driven content ages well. If longevity matters, we’ll avoid hype, buzzwords, and short-term marketing language.
9. What do you need from us to make this successful?
Clear goals, honesty, availability, and trust. We need access to the real story, not just the polished corporate version. Authenticity can’t be faked in post-production.
10. What happens after the video is delivered?
Delivery is not the finish line. Without a plan for distribution and reuse, the video will underperform. The smartest clients think in content libraries, not single videos.
